How to install LUTs in Adobe Premiere Pro

Add your .cube LUT files to the Lumetri Color panel in Premiere Pro.

Step-by-step

    Open your project in Premiere Pro.

    Select your video clip on the timeline.

  3. 3

    Open the Lumetri Color panel.

  4. 4

    Click Creative.

  5. 5

    Click the Look dropdown.

  6. 6

    Choose Browse and select your .cube file.

  7. 7

    Use the Intensity slider to adjust how strong the LUT looks.

Helpful tip

To make LUTs appear permanently in the Look dropdown, drop .cube files into Adobe's shared Creative LUT folder. On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/LUTs/Creative. On Windows (per-user, no admin needed): %APPDATA%\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Creative — this is the recommended path. Windows (machine-wide, needs admin): C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Creative. Restart Premiere Pro after copying. If both folders are blocked, use the Lumetri panel's Browse option to load the .cube directly — it works without admin rights.
