How to adjust exposure after applying a preset

Two sliders are usually enough to fix brightness on any photo.

Step-by-step

   Open the Light panel after applying your preset.

   Slide Exposure up to brighten or down to darken the whole photo.

   Use Highlights to recover bright areas like skies.

   Use Shadows to brighten dark areas without affecting highlights.

   Stop adjusting when the photo looks balanced — small changes go a long way.
