How to install presets in Lightroom Mobile
The simplest way to install your 123presets on iPhone or Android — import the ZIP straight into Lightroom Mobile. No file managers, no unzipping, no DNG workaround. Native ZIP/XMP import on iPhone shipped in the June 2024 Lightroom Mobile update, so if the Import Presets menu is missing, update the app from the App Store or Play Store first. If you landed here from an older DNG tutorial, ignore it — the URL kept the old name, but the method below is the current one.

Download the 123presets ZIP to your phone
Open your order email on the phone you'll be editing on and tap the download link. The ZIP saves to Files → Downloads (iPhone) or the Downloads folder (Android). Leave it as a ZIP — don't tap 'Extract' or open it with a third-party unzipper.

Update Lightroom Mobile
Open the App Store or Play Store and confirm Lightroom is on the latest version. Older versions hide the Import Presets menu and can fail to read modern ZIPs — this single step fixes most 'nothing happens' problems before they start.

Open any photo in Lightroom Mobile
The free version is enough — no Adobe subscription needed. Tap the + button to add a photo from your Camera Roll if the library is empty, then tap the photo to enter the edit screen.

Tap Presets → three-dot menu → Import Presets
In the edit toolbar at the bottom, scroll to Presets and tap it. In the Presets panel, tap the three-dot (⋯) icon in the top-right corner and choose Import Presets. This opens the phone's file picker.

Select the 123presets ZIP
Browse to Downloads (or wherever you saved the file) and tap the 123presets ZIP file. Select the ZIP itself — not a random file next to it. Lightroom opens the archive, reads every XMP preset inside, and installs them into a new preset group named after your pack.

Apply your first preset
Tap Presets again, open your new 123presets group, and tap any preset to preview it. Tap the checkmark to apply, then fine-tune exposure or white balance if your original photo needs a nudge.
No unzipping required — Lightroom Mobile reads the ZIP for you and installs every preset inside in one go.
If Import Presets is missing or greyed out, update the Lightroom app from the App Store or Play Store and reopen it. This is by far the most common reason the option doesn't appear.
