Your 123presets download is a single ZIP that contains XMP presets. This guide explains which file to use on which device so nothing gets lost in translation.

You always download one ZIP
Every 123presets pack downloads as a single ZIP file. The ZIP is just a container — the actual presets live inside it as XMP files. You never lose anything by keeping the ZIP; you only need to know how to open it on each device.

On Lightroom Mobile — use the ZIP
On iPhone and Android, import the ZIP directly into Lightroom Mobile. The app opens the archive for you and installs every XMP preset inside in one tap. Do not try to unzip on your phone first — it isn't needed and often confuses the app.

On Lightroom Desktop and Classic — use the XMP files
On Mac or Windows, unzip the archive first (double-click on Mac, right-click → Extract All on Windows), then import the XMP files from inside. Lightroom Desktop and Classic don't read ZIPs — they need the raw XMP files.

Same presets on all devices
Install on one device and Lightroom syncs the presets to the others through your Adobe account. You never need to install the same pack twice as long as you sign in with the same Adobe ID.
One file type — XMP — works everywhere. Mobile reads it from the ZIP, desktop reads it directly.
On desktop, importing the ZIP instead of the XMP files inside is the #1 reason nothing shows up. On mobile, importing the ZIP is exactly what you want.
