Guide
Step-by-step
- 1
ZIP is a compressed folder that contains all your preset files.
- 2
DNG is a special photo file used to install presets in Lightroom Mobile.
- 3
XMP is a settings file used to install presets in Lightroom Desktop and Classic.
- 4
First, unzip the ZIP folder to access the DNG and XMP files inside.
- 5
Then use the DNG files for mobile or the XMP files for desktop.
Helpful tip
Always unzip the file first. Lightroom cannot read presets that are still inside a ZIP.
Common mistake
If you see a folder ending in .zip, your phone or computer has not unzipped it yet.
