How to unzip your files on iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows

Unzipping your preset folder is the first step before installing — here's how on every device.

iPhone: Open the Files app, find the ZIP, and tap it once. iOS unzips it next to the original.

Android: Open the Files or My Files app, tap the ZIP, and choose Extract.

Mac: Double-click the ZIP in Finder. macOS unzips it automatically.

Windows: Right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All, then Extract.

Always work with the unzipped folder, not the ZIP itself.

Helpful tip

If your phone does not unzip the file, install a free app like iZip (iPhone) or RAR (Android).

Common mistake

If Lightroom shows no presets after import, you most likely tried to import the ZIP instead of the unzipped DNG files.
