How to install presets on Windows

Install your XMP presets on a Windows PC. Short version of the full Lightroom Desktop install — read that guide if you need more detail on any step.

Step-by-step

Find the 123presets ZIP in your Downloads folder, right-click it and choose Extract All → Extract.

Open Lightroom Desktop, open any photo, and click the Edit icon on the right of the window.

Click Presets at the bottom of the edit panel, click the three-dot menu (⋯), and choose Import Presets.

Browse into your unzipped 123presets folder, press Ctrl+A to select every XMP file, and click Import.

Your presets appear under User Presets — click any to preview and apply.

Helpful tip

Prefer to keep your Downloads folder clean? Move the unzipped 123presets folder into Documents so you can find it again if you switch computers.
